Of all my night-time adventures, this particular shot, which I’ve named “Searching for the Stars,” holds a very special place in my heart. There’s a certain magic that happens when you’re under the incredibly dark skies of the Isle of Wight, and this evening truly encapsulated it.

This print captures a moment of pure wonder. You’ll see the iconic Pepperpot, one of the Isle of Wight’s most beloved landmarks, standing proudly against the velvet night. What makes this piece so personal for me is the figure of my son, shining his torchlight upwards, playfully illuminating the very top of the ancient structure. Above us, the magnificent Milky Way galaxy stretches across the heavens, a breathtaking river of light reminding us of the vastness and beauty of our universe.

Photographing the Milky Way here on the Isle of Wight is always a truly magical experience, but sharing it with my son made this moment even more profound.
