Captured at Newtown Nature Reserve during a rare aurora borealis display, this print is a blend of natural wonder and quiet coastal stillness. The tidal pond mirrored the glowing sky—a golden-purple dance of light above the reserve’s wooden hut—while low cloud rolled in, softly lit by the distant glow of Southampton across the Solent.

I didn’t expect to see the aurora that night, let alone photograph it in such a peaceful, remote setting. But the Isle of Wight always surprises me.
